At Beverly’s Pet Resort, training is not a one-size-fits-all service. It is a one-on-one, personalized, co-op learning experience designed to support both dogs and their owners.
We approach training like a homeschool co-op: our trainers act as educators and coaches, while owners play an active role in the learning process. Dogs, like kids, learn best through consistency, structure, encouragement, and real-life practice.

Our Trainers
At Beverly’s Pet Resort, our trainers are educators, mentors, and advocates for dogs and their families.
Each member of our training team is educated, experienced, and accredited, with years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Our trainers bring a strong foundation in canine behavior, learning theory, and positive reinforcement training.
What truly sets our trainers apart is their focus on teaching both ends of the leash. We work just as closely with owners as we do with dogs, breaking skills down in a way that feels approachable, supportive, and achievable.

The Beverly’s Gentle Leader Method
What truly sets Beverly’s apart is not just what we teach — it’s how we teach it.
At the core of every training program is the Beverly’s Gentle Leader Method, a carefully developed approach that combines the Gentle Leader with intentional, structured training techniques designed specifically for real-life success.
While the Gentle Leader itself is a well-known tool, the way it is used, taught, and reinforced at Beverly’s is unique to our programs. Our trainers follow a consistent, education-based method that focuses on communication, timing, and calm guidance, not correction or force.
This approach allows us to:

- Create clear, consistent communication between dog and owner
