Fishers, Indiana: October 12, 2009 – Beverly’s Pet Campus hosted a fundraising event on Saturday, October 3, to benefit Love of Labs Indiana (LOLIN,) a not-for-profit group dedicated to the rescue of Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes in Indiana and the Midwest.
The event, dubbed “Labfest,” was held in celebration of the group’s 500th adoption , and featured the reunion of dogs rescued by LOLIN. The fun-filled day included doggie games, contests, face painting, food, and more! The event, which took place at Bark Park, a private, fully enclosed dog park located on Beverly’s Pet Campus in Fishers, was attended by 25 – 30 adopted dogs and their owners.
Beverly’s Bark Park is a secure, completely enclosed, members-only facility. The beautiful 4-acre park, part of Beverly’s Precious Pet Resort, combines the wide open spaces dogs needs to run and play with amenities their owners want for comfort, convenience and safety.
The Bark Park facility was donated to LOLIN by Beverly’s Pet Campus owner, Kevin DeTrude. The cost to attend “Labfest” was $10.00, and all proceeds from the event went directly to Love of Labs to help fund their ongoing animal rescue efforts.
